Wonderful News! The Goshen High School Alumni Association has received permission to create a GHS Hall of Fame section in the high school lobby. Plaques with laser engraved photos and recipient information will be installed beginning this year. We hope to reveal
the first 10 Hall of Fame plaques at the banquet this year. We are still collecting biographies and photos of our Hall of Famers as a lasting tribute to the wonderful people who have made us so proud of the Goshen Schools. You can look at the Hall of Fame link on our web page for a list of all current members and a form to nominate anyone you feel deserves to be in our Hall of Fame.We also successfully launched our Facebook page this year. We have almost 2000 members on our Goshen High School Alumni Association Facebook page. If you haven’t become a member, please join as soon as possible to stay informed of reunions, current school and alumni events, and to share photos and memories with others from your class and friends.
The GHS Alumni Association is pleased to announce that Mike Holcomb, John Paul Jones and Gary Rutter will be inducted into the Goshen High School Hall of Fame this year. Mike Holcomb, Class of 1979, a former Olympic wrestler. John Paul Jones, Class of 1933, a long time community supporter
and Gary Rutter, a former high school teacher and coach. We hope that you will join us on May 11th as we honor these outstanding inductees.

The majority of our donations are under $100.00 and we greatly appreciate all of our contributions. Occasionally, we receive larger donations and we would like to acknowledge their generosity. Starting next year, the alumni association would like to give 2 free banquet tickets to any alumni member donating at a silver ($100-$249), gold ($250-$499) or platinum ($500 +) levels.

The Goshen High School Alumni Association will be having its 115th annual alumni banquet on
Saturday, May 11, 2013 at Goshen High School. The evening will begin with a Friendship Hour at 4:00 pm in the Goshen High School lobby. A video presentation of the classes will be showing in the community room off the high school lobby. Appetizers and beverages will be provided by the alumni committee during the Friendship Hour. The Friendship Hour is free for anyone wishing to attend. Dinner will follow the Friendship Hour and begins at 6:30 pm. The dinner cost is $15.00 per person.This year, we will honor the classes of
1963, 1968, 1973, 1978, 1983, 1988, 1993, 1998, 2003, and 2013. We need one member of each honored class to introduce their class members. If you are a member of one of the honored classes, please volunteer to introduce your class members. If you would like to be the representative for your class, please contact Candy Meadors @513-310-2626.During the banquet, we will be inducting our newest Hall of Fame members, Mike Holcomb, John Paul Jones and Gary Rutter, as well as presenting our scholarships to this year’s winners. Last year, eight recipients received scholarships in the amount of $1,000 each. The deserving graduates were Erica Miracle, Emily Greenway, Kelly Parriman, Jessica Bennett, Caitlin Duncan, Tomie Head, A. J. Jones and Caitlin Head. Our scholarships vary from year to year, depending upon the donations we receive from our alumni and money donated by Katherine Marr’s Estate.
If you would like to become an active member, just show up at a meeting. There are no fees, dues or forms. Just show up and jump into any project that interests you or just join a committee and voice your opinion. We meet the second Sunday, January, February, March, April, October and November at 2:00pm at the Goshen Township Hall.

graduation year listed on the second line, please contact Joyce Croley at 937-783-4329 or by email at historian@goshenalumni.com. If the name or address is misspelled, addressed to a deceased family member or an adult child no longer living at your house, or any other problem, please let us know. If you now have an email address, we would also like you to send us that information too. Not too far in the future, we will have to send out our newsletter by email and will need your email address. We are currently compiling a list of our email addresses and will soon be sending out a test message to determine the validity of our collected addresses. If you have changed your address in the last ten years or we still don’t have your address, please send it to historian@goshenalumni.com.Alumni Tee Shirts
We’ve been asked many times during the past few years if we have alumni shirts available for purchase. After many requests on our new facebook page, Mary Butts contacted a local graphic artist. We now have an official tee shirt available. The shirts are red, white or gray with our crest screen printed on the left side. The shirts are 25.00 plus shipping. You may obtain dinner tickets by enclosing your requests with a check for the dinner(s). Please include your graduation year on your check. If you would like to have your dinner tickets mailed to you, please enclose a SELF-ADDRESSED STAMPED ENVELOPE.
